FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: socket comprises a cut in metal jacket of mixer or oven with cladding and a non-magnetic plate. Recess in cladding is located on outer side of mixer or oven. Non-magnetic plate consists of active member and frame with flange. Active member is made from non-magnetic stainless steel with thickness of 25-40 mm and channels for passing cooling liquid flow and through cuts for improved electromagnetic field access. Frame of non-magnetic plate is made from non-magnetic steel and is mounted on jacket of mixer or oven by means of flange. EFFECT: no impact on reliability of mixer or oven, increased protection of inductor, maximal insertion of electromagnetic field into liquid-metal smelt. 2 dwg
