SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes ceramic roller with longitudinal axle and two ends, at least one metal cylindrical cover at one or at both ends of roller and devices for rotary connection of end cover and roller securing the end cover to roller in axial direction and centering the roller relative to this cover. Devices for centering the roller relative to end cover is made separately from device for connection of end cover and roller and device for securing the end cover to roller in axial direction. Device for centering the roller relative to end cover may consists of bimetallic members or longitudinal or radial flexible members.
