SUBSTANCE: apparatus for changing tubes includes housing mounted under intermediate casting ladle, at least one fixed plate and tube provided with plate secured to its upper portion; member for forcing tube to fixed plate. Due to direct contact of surfaces of tube and plate, transition surface is formed; said transition surface is inclined by angle α relative to horizon. New tube is moved from its preliminary position to casting position; worn tube is moved from casting position to position for its removal at sliding motion on transition surface along path that is at least partially non-linear one. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability, improved fluid-tightness degree of apparatus. 14 cl, 11 dwg
