FIELD: milk industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminarily activating bifidobacteria in milk with dry substance content of 14-16% and part of process leaven normally used for producing boiled fermented milk; introducing bifidobacteria biomass into activating medium at the rate of 107 CFU/ml, process leaven in an amount of 0.03-0.2% by the volume of activating medium; introducing activated mixture into milk prepared for leavening in an amount of 1% and simultaneously introducing remaining part of process leaven. Method allows therapeutic and prophylactic properties of obtained product to be increased by increased content of viable cells of bifidobacteria and their intensified activity.
