FIELD: ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, namely waste free manufacturing processes, possibly for recovering and preparing vanadium-containing ash waste after burning any organic fuels for transportation to zones of their metallurgical conversion. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preliminarily agitating charge of different fractions, pelletizing them to particles with diameter 1 mm-5 mm, then pressing under pressure 500-1500 kg/square cm for making briquettes in the form of cylinders with relation of base diameter to generatrix 0.75-1.5 and with mass of briquette equal to 0.05-0.5 kg. EFFECT: possibility for performing relatively low cost ecologically pure process for making high-strength briquettes of vanadium-containing waste after burning any organic fuels such oil, gas, coal suitable for transporting to zones for their metallurgical conversion in order to extract vanadium. 1 tbl
