FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: method includes action onto fuel by short-time high voltage discharge in zones of concentration of high voltage field strength directly before injection of fuel into engine combustion chamber at simultaneous movement of needle for relative cleaning of common contact surfaces. Activation system in form of nozzle has positive and negative coaxial electrodes with constant gap. Needle pin and well are furnished with miniribs for concentrating field strength. Needle surface has minislots providing its rotation for cleaning common contact surfaces between needle locking cone and well seat. EFFECT: improved economy and ecological characteristics of engine. 4 dwg
