GEAR TO TREAT RIDGE DEFORMATION OF CHEST AND PROCESS OF ITS APPLICATION Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: gear has needles connected to drawing lines located in distal sections of beams and pushers with pellots self- orienting relative to surface of bone-cartilage tissue of chest are installed between drawing lines on same beams. While process is realized needles are drawn longitudinally through ribs from back to front with convergence and their free ends are anchored on drawing lines. Pellots are put on bone-cartilage surface of deformation vertex. On 4-5-th day correction is started by traction of needles and pressure is exerted with the use of pushers removing ridge deformation of chest. After correction of deformation, depending on its starting value and age, gear is stabilized in the course of 6 weeks. EFFECT: improved efficiency of gear and process. 2 cl, 2 dwg
