FIELD: medicine, chemical-pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: ginseng leaves are milled to particle size 7 mm, extracted with water into electroimpulse extractive chamber at hydromodulus 1:20 and under effect of impact waves produced by impulse electric discharges width 1.2 ms, front is 5 ns. Impulse amount is 1400 in series, their amplitude is 20-36 kV, interelectrode interval is 1.75-2.25 mm. Raw is extracted three-fold with water at 20 C for 8 min, extracts are combined, concentrated under vacuum, treated with 3-fold volume of 96% ethanol in the ratio extractant : ethanol = 1:3. Water-soluble polysaccharides are precipitated, precipitate is filtered off, washed out with ethanol and dried on the glass.
