SUBSTANCE: invention relates to benzothienyl-piperazines of the general formula (I) where X means hydrogen or halogen atom; Y means -CN or -NR1R2 where p is the whole number 1 or 2; m is the whole number 0, 1 or 2; n is the whole number 2, 3 or 4 except for the case when Y is CN then n can be 1 also; R1 means hydrogen atom, (C1-C6)-alkyl or alkoxycarbonyl; R2 means hydrogen atom, (C1-C10)-alkylcarbonyl, (C3-C12)-cycloalkylcarbonyl, hydroxy-(C1-C6)-alkylcarbonyl, phenyl-carbonyl possibly substituted with halogen atom, trifluoro-methyl-, thienylcarbonyl- or benzothienylcarbonyl-group or R1 and R2 in common with nitrogen atom to that they are bound form the cycle of the formula (II) where A means C= O or CH2; B means C=O, CHOH, CH2 or CH2CH2 and Z means hydrogen atom, and their pharmaceutically acceptable additive acid salts under condition that when X is H then n can not be 4 and R1 and R2 both can not be hydrogen atom. Invention proposes also methods of synthesis of indicated compounds and pharmaceutical composition based on thereof. Compounds of the formula (I) and composition based on thereof show antipsychotic activity and can be used for treatment of psychotic patients.
