FIELD: molecular biology, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of making oligonucleotide-base microchips immobilized in organic polymeric gels obtained by polymerization of unsaturated monomers. These microchips can be used in DNA sequenation and mapping, genetic analysis, mutations detection, in medicine and for other aims. Invention describes method of making microchip based on oligonucleotides immobilized in organic gel prepared by copolymerization of unsaturated derivatives of oligonucleotides with unsaturated monomers. Aqueous-saline solutions containing unsaturated monomers, oligonucleotides modified with unsaturated fragments and water-soluble component of catalytic system that induces polymerization are applied on glass baking as micro-drops. Copolymerization of monomers is carried out by immersion of formed matrix in water-insoluble organic solvent containing other dissolved component of catalytic system.
