FIELD: acceleration equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has electromagnet, vacuum chamber, which contains electronic source with power supply, cylindrical accelerating resonator with front walls, which carries diaphragms, which are transparent to electrons. In addition device has beam receiver. Electron gun is located in opposite to one of diaphragms of resonator in parallel to its front walls. Device has flat burst-emission cathode, which is designed as electron- transparent metal foil or metal grid. Diaphragms also are made from electron-transparent metal foil or metal grid. Distance d between cathode and nearest front wall conforms to condition , where h is height of resonator. EFFECT: increased current of accelerated electrons, simplified design, elimination of external microwave generator and interface path. 1 dwg
