FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and electronics of ultrahigh frequencies and can be used in accelerators of charged particles, in the microwave devices, namely microwave heating devices, radar stations, microwave filtration of radio signals, to increase functional capabilities of microwave signal amplifiers with electronic flows. Amplifier comprises an electron gun in the form of a cylindrical vacuum diode with an explosive emission cathode forming a solid cylindrical relativistic electron stream with current by 5–20 % lower than the second critical one and by 50-80% higher than the first critical one, an anode grid located at the boundary of the gun, two electromagnetically unbound resonators located behind the anode grid, an aluminium foil located in the wall of the second resonator, a signal input element in the form of a coaxial waveguide with an inner conductor penetrating inside the first resonator, and a power output in the form of a waveguide connected to the second resonator.
EFFECT: technical result is the increase of efficiency of the amplifier of powerful microwave signals without an external magnetic field.
