FIELD: medicine, ophthalmosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should perform capsulorhexis and nuclear hydrodissection. Before extracapsular removal of cataract one should introduce a curved metal implant into internal equatorial lenticular area, into defect sector of ciliary zonule's fibers. Radius of implant's curvature corresponds to that of lenticular equatorial curvature. Implant should be fixed and, correspondingly, lens, with a magnet located extrasclerally in area of defect projection of ciliary zonule's fibers. As a metal implant one should apply atraumatic curved needle with ligature and blunt distal end. The method enables to atraumatically and reliably remove cataract by providing minimal terms for rehabilitation and high functional results.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
