FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is enantioselective synthesis of sulfoxide of formula I: or alkaline salt thereof in the form of single enantiomer or in enantiomerically enriched form in which Het1 is residue of formula (a) or (b), and Het2 in residue of formula (c) or (d); X is CH(R10) or -C6H2(R11)(R12). Method comprises oxidizing prochiral sulfide of formula II in organic solvent with oxidizing agent in the presence of complex chiral compound of titanium and base. Method are simple, are carried out in one reaction stage, thus making them acceptable for large-scale production of enantiomeric compounds with high yield and high enantiomeric excessive amount. EFFECT: more efficient synthesis methods.
