FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for obtaining optically pure chiral pyridylsulphinyl derivatives of benzimidazoles by catalytic oxidation of pyrridylthiobenzimidazoles, which is characterised by the fact that process is carried out in medium of organic solvent, with application of chiral complexes of titanium with tetradentate O,N,N,O-donor ligands of salalen (dihydrosalalen) type as catalyst, and hydrogen peroxide as oxidant.
EFFECT: method for obtaining optically pure chiral pyridylsulpinyl derivatives of benzimidazoles, characterised by reduction of catalyst load, and simplification of technical process.
