FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has pressing unit with cord. The pressing unit is manufactured as pressure platform. The pressure platform has two longitudinal bars attached to it in parallel plane at a distance of not less than 20 mm. The bars are joined to each other with connecting crosspieces. The crosspieces are arranged as symmetrical structure on both sides of the platform to form windows for the cords to be pulled through. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in temporarily stopping external blood circulation in neck and extremity arteries; retained collateral blood circulation distal to the cord applied; usability for neck and extremity of various sizes with standard blood tourniquet applied for fixing the device. 2 cl, 2 dwg
