FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, in particular to devices for temporary haemorrhage from an injured extremity, specifically to haemostatic tourniquets, and can be used to provide first emergency medical care in bleeding from injured blood vessels. Haemostatic tourniquet comprises a compression band, a fastener, a lug, a coil, a body, and an information display. Housing is made in the form of rectangular box. Side walls of the housing rigidly accommodate two parallel transverse axes, on which there is power and main coils, made in the form of cylindrical spring-loaded drums. On the axis next to the power coil the driving gear is freely installed. Driving gear and the power coil are interconnected by a pair of coronary helical gears engaged in rotation only in one direction. On the surface of the power coil there is a rope wound in the form of a rope; the free end of the tie-rod is connected to the handle. Driving gear is engaged with driven gear pressed to the edge of the main coil. Driven gear is coupled with the housing via a controlled ratchet mechanism. End of the compression band wound on it is connected to the main coil surface. Compression tape is made of woven synthetic reinforced material with inclusion of fibres of light-conducting fabric. Compression tape comprises a load cell. Compression tape and tie rod are withdrawn from the body through a transverse cutout made at the bottom of the body front wall. Free end of the compression tape is connected to the fastener made with possibility of connection to the lug rigidly connected to external surface of back wall of the case. External surface of the body bottom is covered with an adhesive substance, on top of which there is a protective film made of plastic material. On the housing cover there is a light digital information display, a control panel and a handle connected to the rod. Inside the housing there is a processor connected to the light information panel, a dynamometric sensor, as well as LED lamps and a power supply connected to the processor.
EFFECT: invention provides faster bundling time; possibility of haemostasis in self-help order; high information value of the results of assisting at the stages of medical evacuation; easier detection and timely evacuation of wounded.
