FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed internal combustion engine has fuel system with high pressure fuel injection pump and fuel injection advance coupling, air starting system with air distributor and fuel injection pump and air distributor drive with gear and driving member. Air distributor has housing, air chamber, air channels, compressed air outlet unions, shaft and disk secured on shaft. Gear of drive is secured on drive member and is mechanically coupled with crankshaft. Driving member is coupled with fuel injection advance coupling and, through slot, with air distributor shaft spline. Driving member is made hollow and is furnished with detachable cover. Fuel injection advance coupling is placed in driving member space. Slot engaging with shaft spline is made in detachable cover. Air distributor is furnished with cylindrical insert provided with sealing members. Through cylindrical bore is made in air distributor housing. Insert is fitted in this bore. Shaft and disk of air distributor, as well as air chamber and at least part of each air channel are arranged in insert.
