FIELD: mechanical engineering; engine. SUBSTANCE: proposed internal combustion engine has crankshaft, flywheel and power takeoff device, disk with hub and set of springs. Cylindrical bore made in flywheel has peripheral recesses and it accommodates disk with hub installed on bearings. Springs are fitted in peripheral recesses and peripheral holes of disk coinciding with recesses. Power takeoff device is secured on hub. Flywheel consists of housing, spacer and cover braced together by fitted pins and bolts. Flywheel housing is secured on crankshaft. Cylindrical bore and peripheral recesses are made in housing and in spacer. End face surfaces of peripheral recesses in flywheel are arranged at angle Φ relative to each other. Value of angle Φ is found form relationship 0 < Φ < Φo, where Φo - is angle between straight lines passing through centers of end face surfaces of peripheral recesses and axis of crankshaft.
