Abstract RU 2158630 C1

FIELD: gas converters; applicable in production of synthetic products by conversion of gas mixtures, for instance, hydrogen cyanide. SUBSTANCE: gas converter has body accommodating catalyst net, gas heat-exchange tubes, cover and branch pipes for inlet and discharge of gas and water. Cover has cone-shaped perforated distributing device for supply of contact gas having variable permeability. Gas heat-exchange tubes are made in form of tubes bundle secured in tube walls under catalyst net. At least, four tubes uniformly distributed on inlet tube walls are U-shaped whose outlet has plugs with side holes located at level of inlet tube wall for gas outlet along its surface. EFFECT: increased yield of desired product and higher apparatus efficiency. 2 dwg
