SUBSTANCE: method comprises partial oxidation of hydrocarbon stock with oxidizing agent in compression type combustion engine. Working surfaces of internal combustion engine are manufactured from material or covered with material which activate partial pressure of hydrocarbon stock. Partial oxidation of hydrocarbon stock with oxidizing agent is carried out at oxidizing agent excessive amount coefficient of 0.5-1.6. Invention makes it possible to improve quality of synthesis gas and widen range of H₂/CO, ratio and increased efficiency of production process.
