FIELD: heat insulation of pipes. SUBSTANCE: table for laying the envelope and introducing the pipe into it is made in form of cradle provided with wheels for its motion together with pipes secured on it through entire process line inclusive pouring and hardening of composition. Cradle is also provided with sector clamps embracing the envelope over external surface smoothing the envelope both diametrically and along its longitudinal axis. Detachable roller supports secured at ends of pipe of heat line are used for rolling the pipe into envelope and keeping it in central position relative to envelope. Provision is made for guides for two or three supports depending on length of pipe. Ends of these guides are secured to ends of pipe before pouring and hardening of composition. Splittable circular blanks are extensible for embracing the taut guides, closing and sealing opening between pipe and envelope and introducing foaming composition. EFFECT: reduced consumption of labor; reduced usage of materials; improved quality of insulation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
