FIELD: pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting and sealing the shell, applying heat insulating composition on the pipe, and foaming and solidifying the composition. The heat insulating composition is made of liquid polyurethane foam. The heat insulating composition is applied on the steel pipe by preliminary setting centering supports made of polyethylene. The conductor-indicators are simultaneously mounted. The axes of the waterproofing shell and the pipe are then aligned by moving the shell onto the pipe, which is provided with centering rings. The "pipe-inside-pipe" structure is heated in a furnace and then is fed to the sloped table for filling structure with polyurethane foam. The faces of the structure are plugged. The interpipe space is filled with the polyurethane foam and, after the solidification of the composition, the plugs are removed and the faces are covered with a waterproofing material.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of insulating.
