FIELD: steam turbine shafting. SUBSTANCE: bearing has race and insert conjugated with it over spherical surface. Insert is provided with babbitt layer which forms supporting surface and with stacks of thrust block interacting with thrust disc of shaft. Stacks of blocks are secured on one of insert ends. Supporting surface and thrust blocks are supplied with oil. At least one of conjugated surface of race and insert is provided with net of small grooves which forms net of capillary channels when race is assembled with insert. This net is coupled with oil supply source. EFFECT: reduced friction coefficient. 3 dwg
