FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves detecting anomalous temperature phenomena (temperature gradients) in pericranial and cervical muscles measured in the range of 1100-1200 MHz by applying microwave radiometry method with radiothermometer. Tissue temperature is evaluated at the depth of 4-6 cm under the skin-to-antenna contact zone. The temperature gradients being found to be greater than 0.8 C all along the area under study and greater than 0.2 C above the symmetrical points in this area, pericranial muscular disorders are diagnosed in the cases of headache.
