FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to neurology. Electric stimulation of skin projections of lesser and greater occipital nerves is carried out for not less than 70 times with 5-6 s interval with single rectangular 0.5-1.0 ms long pulses with amplitude 25-30 mA. Parameters of reflex electromyographic responses of trapezius muscle are registered. Obtained parameters of reflex electromyographic responses are compared with analogous average parameters obtained in electric stimulation of lesser and greater occipital nerves in healthy people and results of comparison are used to make conclusion about presence in patient of cervicogenic headache.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase objectivity of CHA diagnostics without traumatic effects on patient.
