Ore burden is just oxide-bearing nickel ore at the following ratio of components, mass-%: oxide-bearing nickel ore, 20.0 to 45.0; flux, 3.0 to 28.0; solid fuel, 4.0 to 7.0 and scale remainder. Burden contains additionally iron-ore material at content of iron no less than 60% and limestone used as flux at the following ratio of components, mass-%: oxide-bearing nickel ore, 20.0 to 45.0; limestone, 3.0 to 28.0; solid fuel, 4.0 to 7.0; iron-ore material, 10.0 to 50.0 and scale remainder.
