FIELD: metallurgy; reworking secondary materials containing non-ferrous and precious metals. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes oxidation of organic with oxygen-containing gas, melting copper scrap and electronic wastes containing precious metals and refining of black copper. Electronic wastes are charged in vertical oxygen converter together with copper scrap in mass ratio of 1:5 to 1:10; melting is effected simultaneously with oxidizing of organics at excess-oxygen coefficient for burning fuel equal to 20-1.5.
