FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: supporting construction has channels stretched in longitudinal direction. It includes monolithic cellular construction with open cells. Walls of cells are formed of strips of heat-resistant metal or ceramics. Sizes of holes are equal to or more than sizes of hole of catalytic structure channels. Monolithic cellular construction is positioned at output and/or input of catalytic structure. One of ends of catalytic structure rests upon monolithic cellular construction. Monolithic cellular construction passes in direction perpendicular to longitudinal axis of catalytic structure overlapping its entire end surface. Holes of its open cells communicate with catalytic structure channels. Monolithic cellular construction is attached with its external edge to reaction chamber wall so that axial load acting on it is taken up by reaction chamber wall. In case of fuel catalytic combustion gas flow containing mixture of gas including oxygen and fuel is passed through monolithic catalytic structure. Invention allows uniform distribution of axial load arising in catalytic structure over entire area of monolithic supporting construction.
