FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: described are indole derivatives of formula I: wherein n is integer of 1 to 3, W is group of formula (i), (ii) or (iii) wherein R is hydrogen or C_1-4 alkyl; X is -O-or - NH; Y is O or S; chiral center in formula (i) or (ii) is in (S) or (R) form or mixture thereof in any ratios; Z denotes groups of formula -CH₂CH₂NR¹R², V or VI , R¹, R² and R³ are hydrogen or C_1-4 alkyl; and physiologically acceptable salts or solvates thereof provided that compound N,N-dimethyl-2-[5-(2-oxo-1,3-oxazolidin-4-yl- methyl)-1H-indol-3-yl)ethylamine is deleted. Indole derivatives of formula I are useful in prophylaxis of clinical states for which administration of "5-HT₁- like receptor agonist is recommended.
