FIELD: construction engineering; bridge construction. SUBSTANCE: bridge support has bottom member with spherical concave effective surface covered with polymeric antifriction sheet material that contacts top member having spherical supporting surface polished at least where it contacts polymeric antifriction sheet material and coated with covering chromium layer, not less than 0.1 mm thick. Spherical and/or cylindrical sockets are made in polymeric antifriction sheet material at point of its contact with top member, their depth being maximum 0.75 of sheet material thickness. Novelty is that length of contacting line between top member and polymeric antifriction material exceeds length of contacting line between bottom member and polymeric antifriction sheet material at least in one cross-sectional area of bridge support. EFFECT: improved reliability; enhanced overhaul life; reduced labor consumption for planned preventive maintenance. 3 cl, 3 dwg
