FIELD: blasting equipment, applicable for connection of lines for transmission of signal in blasting initiating devices. SUBSTANCE: the connecting unit has a body component, having a duct formed in it for reception and holding of the detonator. The locking element is installed in the body component in the first position combined with the locking position but shifted from it. The detonator is inserted in the duct of the connecting unit and, when aligned, is appropriately set in the duct by displacement of the locking element through the passage so as to displace the detonator in axis to the required position and engage the locking element and the detonator for their fastening in the duct. Provision is made for assembly of the detonator in the connecting unit for producing a combination of the detonator and connecting unit. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of connection of the detonator in the connecting unit and accuracy of its positioning. 38 cl, 17 dwg
