FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes measuring of car gross mass, subtracting of car tare mass from gross mass and comparing the result with car loading norm. Gross mass of car is found by weighing and summing up of gross masses of first and second bogies of car. When checking car load, nonuniformity of loading is evaluated additionally by determining differences in gross masses of first and second bogies and comparing the result with tolerable difference of indicated bogies gross mass using a nomogram. EFFECT: improved safety of operation of railway vehicles owing to safety of transportation of loads in nonuniformly loaded cars. 2 dwg
