FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves investigating clinical manifestations of the disease and results of patient X-ray examination. Venous blood is taken, serum is separated, where total proteolytic activity is determined. The value being equal to 1.99 mmole/(h x l) and higher, II-III stage of the disease is diagnosed. The value being equal to or lower than 1.98 mmole/(h x l), IV-V stage of Peters disease is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: high reliability of diagnosis.
