FIELD: mechanical engineering; engine ignition systems. SUBSTANCE: ignition coil has ferromagnetic core, primary winding, secondary winding, high-voltage terminal electrically connected with high voltage lead of secondary winding. Coil is provided with interference suppressing resistor placed between high-voltage lead of secondary winding and high-voltage terminal. Core material can be used as interference suppressing resistor. Core can be made, at least partially, of ferromagnetic powder. EFFECT: provision of small-size ignition coil with low interference level. 3 cl, 4 dwg
