FIELD: mechanical engineering; ignition systems of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: feed- through capacitor is arranged between magnetic core and high-voltage terminal. Longitudinal slot is made in magnetic screen enclosing coil case. Capacitor lead is connected with contact of low- voltage connector by means of bus provided with straight-line section passing near slot in parallel with slot. First plate of capacitor can be arranged square to axis of symmetry of coil case on high-voltage terminal of ignition coil. Second plate of capacitor can be made in form of C- shaped part with tongue. If necessary, capacitor can be furnished with third plate electrically connected with second plate and located symmetrically relative to second plate and first plate of capacitor. EFFECT: provision of cheap and easy-to-manufacture cigar-shaped ignition coil with built-in feed-through capacitor designed to control working process in engine cylinder. 3 cl, 3 dwg
