FIELD: storage of dangerous wastes, especially radioactive wastes. SUBSTANCE: unit includes main concrete body 11 which moves in water as floating hull and may rest on sea bottom in storage area. This main hull has inner spaces for storage of wastes (S, K); some of them are located below water level. Concrete body of terminal which moves in water as floating hull and may lie on sea bottom is located near main body 11 adjoining it. Both bodies are connected by means of connecting lines 14. Terminal body is provided with devices located above water level for receiving wastes from water transport facilities or from ground transport facilities. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 15 cl, 5 dwg
