FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves planting potato tuber parts with emerged buds, emerged minitubers, rooted cuttings or vial plants into four-chamber glasses with volume of 120 cu cm made from transparent material, with one chamber having 25 cu cm; providing invasion of soil with nematode larvae; cultivating plants by providing water and mineral fertilizer solutions of predetermined composition; evaluating resistance of plants to nematode by determining the number of cysts on roots by visual counting through transparent panels of bag; considering plants with roots free of cysts as nematode resistant. EFFECT: increased efficiency by improved precision of obtained data. 3 cl
