FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out phototherapeutic keratectomy in the cornea ablation zone of 9 mm diameter. Treatment for preventing recidivation is applied during the first day after the operation using Poludan solution administered as subconjunctival injections 1-2 times a week at a dose of 200 units in 0.5 ml of physiological salt solution and Poludan solution administered as instillations at a dose of 200 units in 2.0 ml of physiological salt solution. The solution is introduced into the conjunctival sack 2-4 times a day in the amount of 1-2 drops. EFFECT: avoided manifestations of astigmatism.
