FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: combined bushing may be used as water pump gland in internal combustion engines, compressors and protection devices for bearing assembly. Bushing has flexible body containing circular hollow for installation of graphitized ring in it and contrary-positioned internal cavity limited by circular layer of rubber mixture provided with circular knurls which serve for airtight coupling with water pump body. Bushing also has base provided with finned layer and internal curvilinear projections, as well as adapter jumper. It is also fitted with two reinforced members positioned independently. One of members is element of axial and radial surfaces of base. Adapter jumper size increases uniformly from base to other reinforced member. Internal cavity houses compression spring having truncated profile and nonuniform spiral pitch. EFFECT: enlarged operational capabilities. 3 dwg
