FIELD: mechanical engineering; pumps. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pumps used in engine cooling systems. Proposed impeller has flange with blades and ribs rigidly secured on flange and arranged opposite to each other on ring shaft. Minimum height of impeller rib is 9.3 mm. Bases of ribs are located on conical surface with tilting of generatrix through angle α = 100 deg relative to axis. End faces of blades are limited in base by diameter D= 40 mm and form in profile projection angle ζ = 24±20′ with axis. Ratio of number of blades and ribs is 7:8. Minimum thickness of ribs and flange fillets is 3 mm. Trapezoidal figures with curvilinear bases are formed between ribs. Smaller end base of ribs are registered with cylindrical generatrix of ring outline so that ribs, in side projection, have arc-shaped profile with radius roundings of arcs. Inner surface of impeller is designed for adhesive enclosing of ring shaft. This shaft has two opposite projections relative to opposite flats with minimum thickness of axial contact Sac= 5 mm. Height of segment projections is β = 2,5 mm. Inner surface of cast-iron ring shaft is ground in axial distance Bg= 22,9 mm with displacement from end face through Φ = 4 mm to increase area of peripheral adhesive contact of ring shaft with impeller. Two rows of screw grooves with pitch of 3 mm and 0.3 - 0.5 mm are made of surface of ring shaft. EFFECT: improved geometry of impeller, increased reliability . 3 dwg
