TURBINE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2183772 C2

FIELD: pumps for handling liquids. SUBSTANCE: proposed turbine is made in form of flange with rigidly secured blades on side of main bearing surface and circular shaft secured as cantilever. Minimum height of turbine wheel blade fin is equal to 9.3 mm. Maximum ascent of upper edge of blade is limited by inclination of butt at angle of 20 deg. Base of fins is located on cylindrical surface relative to axial. Combination of blades and fins is selected at ratio of 7:8. Trapezoidal bases are curvilinear in shape; spiral fins of blades are made in form of projections on surface having positive rake angle relative to rounded-off peak and rear surface coinciding with extension of inclination of main profile of blade. Peak does not coincided with axis of fins and inner closed space within one pitch between peaks is made for cavitation flow of liquid medium from to blades. Smaller butts of fins are combined with generatrix of internal cylindrical contour of base and inner surface of turbine has two opposite projections at minimum width of axial contact equal to 5 mm and radial depth of closing of opposite flats on bush equal to 2.5 mm. Simultaneously, butt is provided with concentric radial microsections with center of circumscribed circle coinciding with turbine axis. EFFECT: possibility of handling liquid at high loading of turbine blades. 4 dwg
