FIELD: spectrometry of ionizing radiation. SUBSTANCE: rejector incorporates element exposing droop of signal, AND gate, RS flip-flop, two amplitude discriminators and two univibrators. In addition former of first derivative of input signal and retrieval and storage device are positioned across input of channel A of rejector to reduce distortion in hardware spectrum and to determine maximum value of input signal across input of channel A. Both amplitude discriminators are gated which makes it possible to simplify design and to increase operational reliability of rejector at same time. Discriminator of first derivative of input signal is intended for detection of crossing of zero and for control over network of discriminator and univibrator connected in series which contributes to more accurate determination of maximum value of input signal and raised interference immunity of rejector. Discriminator across input of channel A is controlled by network of former of first derivative of input signal, discriminator and univibrator connected in series which prevents operation in response to imposed pulses. EFFECT: simplified design, expanded functional capabilities, diminished distortion in spectrum with rise of statistic of events, enhanced operational reliability of rejector. 2 dwg
