FIELD: mineral concentration by method of flotation, particularly, flotation devices applicable in coal, metallurgical and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: flotation machine includes chamber with loading and unloading branch pipes, overflow lip and aerator secured to drive hollow shaft and consisting of rotating rotor inside immovable cylindrical stator having slots on its side surface. Rotor consists of a set of discs of equal diameters with blades attached to disc lower surfaces. Upper and middle discs have blades spiral in shape, and lower disc has curved blades. Middle and lower discs have intake holes located over circumference round hollow shaft and interconnected by branch pipes to form intake channels. In addition, installed on upper end of drive shaft is propeller type air forcing device. Branch pipe for intake of air to aerator has a slide gate. The flotation machine allows to increase efficiency by 5-10% due to considerable intensification of flotation process and reduced consumption by 0.2 kW/h per ton of ore. EFFECT: increased process efficiency and reduced power consumption. 2 dwg
