FIELD: concentration of minerals by floatation method; metallurgy; mining, chemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed aeration unit has shaft on which two impellers are secured at different levels above bottom of machine and are mounted in stators. Stator of upper impeller is additionally provided with disperser made in form of two half-rings and two half-shells welded to them ; surface of half-shells is perforated in staggered order. Outer surface of stator of upper impeller is made in form of two half-shells which are fastened together; their surface is provided with two vertical rows of through holes, five holes in each row; holes are made between adjacent stiffeners of stator; stiffeners are made in form of rectangular plates secured between two rings. Lower impeller is made in form of disk provided with blades secured to it at right angle; blades have V-shaped form in cross section. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of floatation process. 3 dwg
