SUBSTANCE: proposed regulator includes drum with flexible member, rocker on hinged support, two fixed rollers and one roller fitted on rocker arm and brake block mounted on other arm of rocker. Flexible member embraces in succession first fixed roller, roller fitted on rocker arm and second fixed roller. Brake block is engaged with drum rim. Force of spring tension is equal to double magnitude of preset tension of flexible member and relationship of main sizes of regulator corresponds to the following condition , where rmax is maximum radius of winding flexible member off the drum; R0 is radius of drum rim; "a" is length of rocker arm with roller; "b" is length of rocker arm with brake block; is minimum magnitude of sliding friction coefficient between brake block and drum rim; ε is permissible relative error of adjustment of flexible member tension. According to another version, weight is secured on rocker arm where roller is fitted; mass of this weight is equal to doubled magnitude of preset tension of flexible member.
