FIELD: plastic metal working, particularly, working by surface plastic deformation of incomplete heads of ball pins. SUBSTANCE: essence of the invention consists in additional turning of worked ball pin in plane running through its longitudinal axis square to rotation plane of deforming rolling bodies, executed after each full revolution of pin round its axis. In so doing, to increase efficiency of working process, additional turning of ball pin after each full revolution of pin round its axis is performed through an angle equal to 1-5 deg and total angle of additional turning is selected within interval of 40-50 deg. EFFECT: reduced time of working the surface of incomplete spherical head of ball pin and its higher quality. 3 cl, 1 dwg
