METHOD OF VODKA PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of 40-% strength mixture from ethyl rectified alcohol "Extra" and potable corrected water. The mixture is cleaned with activated carbon passing it through carbon-cleaning battery. Granulated sugar in the form of aqueous solution or 65.8-% sugar syrup is introduced on mixing in sorting or finishing tank. Then introduced in finishing tank is ascorbic acid diluted in softened water, solution is mixed and filtrate of aqueous-alcoholic pear infusion of the Ist discharging is added. After it, vodka is thoroughly mixed, its strength is corrected and prepared product is bottled. For production of 1000 dal of BABAEVSKAYA vodka are used: refined granulated sugar, 14-16 kg; ascorbic acid, 0.09-0.12 kg; aqueous-alcoholic pear infusion of the Ist discharging, 7-7.6 l; ascorbic acid, ethyl rectified alcohol "Extra" and potable corrected water in terms of 40-% strength, the balance.
