FIELD: blasting operations, applicable for initiation of explosive charges. SUBSTANCE: the method for sealing of blasting means consisting of a detonating cord and an intermediate detonator by application of a sealing coating onto the surface of the blasting means consists in the fact that the detonating cord is coated selectively excluding the detonating cord sections that are engageable at assembly of the blasting means with the intermediate detonator, and after assembly the sealing coating is applied onto the assembly surface. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of sealing of blasting means with preservation of failure- free performance. 6 dwg
