FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out circular paralimbic incision in conjunctiva, separating conjunctiva towards equator. Direct muscles are exposed and optical nerve is cut. After having exposed the direct muscles, ligatures are applied to their tendons to select and cut vorticosed veins. The vorticosed veins are ligated and transected. Direct muscle tendons are transected. Direct muscle ligatures are optionally brought into the conjunctival vaults and tied there. EFFECT: reduced probability of melanoma metastases. 2 cl
